I'm hooked. My favorite show in TV right now. It makes me want one of their custom built cabins.
Very solid reality show.

The further along the season has progressed, Paul seems less enthusiastic.
I think he senses that the average joe from the countryside identifies with Tuffy more than the guy from New York City.
He seems sorta out of his element, even though Paul is the reason for the "vision", which is everything. Everyone identifies with Tuffy's sense of practicality, but they cheer Paul when they see the end product.
Essentially, they ride Paul's arse for 7 days, the entire time praising Tuffy's work ethic, yet Paul is only received praise at the end when he's accomplished the impossible.

I agree, and after about season 2 of swamp people, I stopped watching shows like this. Glad I landed on this. I enjoy the idea and creativity of these guys.

I prefer Building Alaska, but Building Wild is pretty good. I loved the little hunting cabin they built with a beer slide out to the deck.

the thing that people don't like about paulie is him promising things that are left up to someone else (tuffy) to make sure they are completed/work properly.
it's a basic boss vs grunt premise, or that's how it plays on the screen
just my opinion

Wonder how much these cabins end up costing? I enjoy the show but would not want one down here unless they wire it for electricity so you could use generator power and a window unit. They really do nice work though.
