looks like it
Pretty awesome location for a mobster game. It will be a nice change of pace committing crime on the streets of New Orleans.

*also looks to be on the PS4 and Xbone (don't see PC but it's inevitable considering it's a Mafia game)

It's crazy that there hasn't been an open world crime game set in Nola yet, hopefully this delivers.

Interesting location with a mafia scene that really isn't talked about enough.

It's because Nola is in the south, all of the northern mob cities are more glamorized.

Louisiana natives are Franklin, Tony and Mickey

Seriously?

They can differentiate it a little more than that.

I didn't even think of that.

Those names do work, but they could have been a little more creative.

NO is tiny compared to other US cities.

No doubt, it's crime isn't though. Plus I'm hoping they make it bigger than just Nola, I want to throw some bodies in the swamp.

New Orleans may be small, but if you were to add the North Shore to that, I think it would be relatively the same size as Los Santons and Blaine County from Grand Theft Auto V.

This is interesting, because my cousin's half sister just got a call yesterday about doing a voice over for a video game. She takes acting classes in BR somewhere.

Granted it could be any game.

Now it is, but it wasn't too long ago when it was the 4th largest metro area in the nation.

Wasn't one of the infamous games set in a fictionalized New Orleans

Yes, New Marais. Setting the game there was also a gameplay choice since the protagonist was vulnerable to being submerged in water. So, it was easy to come up with a narrative reason for why there was so much water restricting the player from leaving the city. Most games just resort to poorly conceived barricades or invisible walls.
