I'm working, so I don't have tons of info. Anyone else seen this from a different source?

Nothing on Drudge yet...
Should know rather quickly depending on what the markets do.

This may have happened last weekend. Some Russian troops attempted to cross over from Crimea into mainland Ukraine via a small spit of land connecting the two.
The local Ukrainians, mostly civilians at first followed by uniformed Ukrainian military, blocked the Russian's access on the road the Russians were using. No shots were fired.
The Russians retreated but laid some land mines across the isthmus, setting up a "front line" between Ukraine proper and Crimea.
Of course, I'm assuming this is the situation being referred to in the OP. There was one article on the internet either Saturday or Sunday describing the brief confrontation.

Nothing on Reuters or BBC either. Markets are falling due to worries about the Chinese economy.

CNN had it as a "breaking news" type of thing.
Granted, it was CNN...

This is the only thing I could find on CNN.com just now. It was one paragraph buried in a long article about this coming weekend's referendum.

Tensions flared Wednesday at a Ukrainian military base in Novoozernoye, in western Crimea. A CNN team saw Ukrainian forces load and cock their weapons as what appeared to be Russian soldiers moved in on the base and placed a heavy machine gun at the gates. The Russian troops then pulled back.
