Does it really matter what title company you use to buy a home? Can you save money at all?

Anyone have a home inspection company they recommend?

From what I gather, i'm not an expert.
Some are more expensive. Usually the mortage company person sets it up though. If you happen to find a cheaper one and wanted to use that particular title company, I don't see why the mortgage company contact would not go with it. Obviously, all the mortgage people have their go to title companies / their favorites they work with and are in bed with eachother.

The buyer can choose any title company they wish. I've used 3 different ones in the past simply due to location and convenience. Just curious if any can save you money.
