Will be accepting a new position down there and starting in May.

so my wife got the pharmacist job in Biloxi. Looks like we will choose Ocean Springs. Any info on nice areas there? Best schools, Ocean springs or St. Martin?

look for the areas with mostly double wides in it.

God damn it. I am near Birmingham now. So at least i am a bit closer. Semmes? Fairhope? Foley? Find out more if my wife gets a pharmacist job in Biloxi next week. Only complicates shite more.

Across the bay. Or, if you want to live in Mobile, midtown.

If your wife gets a job in Biloxi then that changes things, but my choice would be Fairhope, or Spanish Fort. Got kids? then either one of those will be good schools.

Good Luck

Yes, 11 year old and a 2 year old. Older daughter plays travel softball too. So fairhope is nice? Mighty white?

yup, public schools are a lot better. if she works in biloxi, at least those are on i-10, but probably better to be closer to MS

God no.

As has already been said, eastern shore is best area around the bay but it wouldn't be fun to commute to Biloxi everyday. West mobile is growing and has some nice neighborhoods. The baker high public school district is not a bad area. Faith Academy is also out that way and it's an easier drive.

Brah fairhope is only white. Daphne is more diverse but
Mostly rednecks. Spanish fort is nice. Fairhope, point clear, Montrose are all nice. Bay minnette and daphne are hit or miss, nice areas and nice people mixed with trashy areas and trashy people.

Yep. Unless she'll be commuting to Biloxi. That would suck beyond belief during tourist season.

If your wife is traveling to Biloxi I would look at neighborhoods off of hillcrest or sollie. Some very nice neighborhoods and you don't have as much of the thuggery and trash as you do in other parts of town.

Bay bridge traffic sucks sometimes, but it is 100x better than living on the west side of Mobile
