Went there a few times. Very good food and atmosphere. Just opened up a few weeks ago. I recommend the Chicken Scaloppini. Thought I'd share.

Not trying to nit pick here, but was scaloppine a favorite amongst ancient Phoenicians? Seems a bit far removed from Italy.

I'm just sayin, I can't find it in the bible either.
I see tortellini on the menu too. Those damn Phoenicians must have gotten around and were way ahead of the curve.

Nothing personal or meant to be serious really. Just a friendly jab at the obvious with the restaurant.

It's Mediterranean cuisine.
Except when they had to add steak and burgers to get the rednecks in Zachary to actually come in the doors.
Owner was a long time chef at Arzi's on govt before branching off

Yeah they have a burger. I thought it was weird but there are closed minded people in the South.

What a retarded statement.

Ironic since none are so blind as those that will not see.
Have you even been anywhere else in the world?

I'm a little confused with your tactics. I said there is a burger on the menu for the customers that are a little closed minded. My in-laws are like this. I say greek, they say no even though they have never had it. I'm all for trying new things.

You said there are "close minded people in the South."
While true, there are close minded people in Iceland, Burkina Fasso, Texas, California, New York and Oregon.
Try getting northerners to drink sweet tea, eat grits, or anything with seasoning.
Try getting a New Yorker to eat Chicago style pizza or vice versa.
In actual fact, every person is close minded. But that is taking this a bit far.
I had meltdown moment. I got it out.
And my apologies.

no biggie. I understand where you are coming from. I agree. My mind just gravitated towards thinking about my in-laws which are southern

I find the closed mindedness to food and items people are unfamiliar to them to be heavily focused in those areas where people tend to never leave, and so aren't usually exposed to different things and get stuck in a rut or scared to leave their comfort zone of what they know. The south us definitely in that number, but so are a lot of mid westerners I'd say as well.
For myself, its not unfamiliarity I concern myself with in trying new things, but sketchy people or places that raise my red flags.
I just want to make sure I'm getting proper, delicious, and safe for human consumption.
