I think USNWR is a joke...40% of their ranking formula is completely arbitrary...but I know the board loves law school rankings.

Louisiana schools are getting murdered thanks to the new Bar Exam. Loyola is only 11 spots higher than SULC.

Surprised to see Alabama at #23. Nice.

To me, these are the most important numbers. In my opinion, Southern is the best deal. Before you chop my head off, I know the bar passage rates for SULC students are bad, but I know plenty of successful lawyers that have graduated from there.

LSU:
Tuition:
Full-time: $19,816 per year (in-state)
Full-time: $38,118 per year (out-of-state)
Median private sector starting salary $55,000
Median public service starting salary $41,500

I went there and passed the bar my first time. I don't think I'd be doing anything different had I gone to LSU, but I still wish I could've gone to LSU. Don't screw around in undergrad, kids.

You know the schools fall under the "rank not published" aren't, themselves organized by rank.
ETA: Not saying that one is better than the other.

I am enjoying my time at SULC, but I wish we had more activities and mixers that provide networking opportunities

Didn't get into LSU either... wait-listed up until the day orientation started (when I got the axe).
Thought about transferring after my first year, but I didn't see the benefit.
