What if the two passengers with the stolen passports were asked to board the plane with a new type of undetectable explosive device. Even they knew nothing about it. Once the plane was underway, someone on the ground set the device off. This could have just been a test. Also, this could be why not much chatter world wide. Just a thought.

It's quite interesting how the brain starts to question and attempt to make sense of an incident when national and political pride are not in the way.

BBC is reporting they were Iranians "migrating" to Europe for a better life.

I think the pilot just pointed it down and buried it in the ocean.

Would not be surprised if this was the case.

For whatever reason. Could have had a gun to his head or just wanted to commit suicide and take a couple hundred people with him.

There would have to be some debris from that being spotted. This is now the biggest search operation in history according to a post made in the OT thread. South China Sea is only like 175 to 300 feet deep I believe.

I'm of the opinion that it exploded at a very high altitude over jungle terrain.

He would have to overpower the co pilots... Not to mention they likely would have got a distress call off if there was a disturbance. Additionally, the plane was armed with transponders that would immediately send out a distress signal upon impact with land/water.

This shite is crazy to say the least.

They would still see debris in the green jungle canopy if that were the case.

It was probably the work of an Alludium Q-36 Exploding Space Modulator

Maybe, maybe not. When that Valujet crashed in the Everglades it completely disappeared.

Reports now that the plane might have made a u turn which could mean its buried in the jungle.
