Hey if there is one for JJ on the men's side how about on women's? I still think this team can win a few in NCAA's, but WB at LSU has a significantly better relative tradition, esepecially since 1999. Also, NC is a high profile coach ($700k IMHO was fine to pay, but only if she wins), but 7-9 and a 10 seed is NOT acceptable and we lose 3 seniors, two of whom were heart and soul. So what if she has similar year next season? I say she would be under major heat, but would still get another year, her 5th (especially if recruiting class is good). Th is year looks ot end as a major fail, but cant see us not giving her at least two more years, especially if we make NCAA's next year. Others thoughts? BTW, latest ESPN bracket has ND in our BTR region, if this happens and we win the 8/9 game, better bring some extra towels, because UCONN and ND are more than capable of beating us (and most any other team) by 30+....and they owe us from 2001 NCAA here...could get ugly...

Nikki,
It all comes down too if we have good post play next year, if we are sub .500, and we fail to bring in a GOOD recruiting class, she may very well be leaving. The recruiting class we have coming in this year is somewhat of a disapointment. Not 1 top 100 or 200 recruit. I personally think we should be a man to man defense. We looked much better. Offensively, we need shooters, badly. We need a consistent 3pt threat. Moncrief and Ballard are solid mid range

Like to hear from some who have optimistic view because I have been a sceptic since early on, never liked her attitude and I was heading in her favor after a good end of showing last year, but given the apparent chemsitry issues this year and the record (worst in 14 years, first lost to bama since 2001), the players we are losing (who can brought in) the likliehood we will lose 1-2 current players in off season well, I am now firmly on the -next year or goodbye side. I asked her biggest fans this past pre-season their expectations, well saintsfan, lsualum etc, 10th place seed, 8-10 in SEC, sure we played a VERY tough sch for sure, but this is totally unaceptable...IMHO her seat is hotter than JJ's...and agree if ND is in our region it will not be pretty..assuming we beat first round opp

Model Nikki should be gone as soon as the season ends, but Snow Peas isn't going dump her after this season or next. Doesn't want to admit he made another basketball hiring and wretched excess overpay mistake.

She was good at UCLA and was to breeze through LSU on her way to Kentucky was the story. What happened?

She wants to be the coach at Tennessee, not LSU.

That job probably won't be open for 15 years.

I agree with a previous poster, what this team is missing is athletes. Thats one thing Pokey had an abundance of. And also need at least 2 shooters. And one other thing, if she don't sign K. Brown out of Salmen High, 6'6 post player, then I would say its time to cut ties.

She CANNOT let that kid get out of the state.
