Cadet. You sold on him?

What do you guys think about him? I am just not sure what he brings to the table. He seems to be just a situational type player that I don't see a role for him going into next season, nor do I see him being able to replace Sproles. With what seems to be a change in the offensive philosophy maybe we should cut ties with him and maybe look at the draft for someone that fits the mold of more ground and pound type player that can take a beating if need be.
In a perfect world would love to keep PT to have as the third down back for picking up the blitz and those nice little swing passes for third and short.

No I'm not sold on him and do think that we should cut ties with him, but he's not a major priority. We'll probably keep him until we have more of a sure bet because he's cheap and young. As far as a ground and pound type, we already have that in Khiry Robinson.

I agree with statement, but with PT's status in limbo do we really want to rely on Cadet if Ingram or Khiry get hurt?
If PT is traded or released then a running back becomes a priorty. I would not be suprised if a running is targeted in the 3rd round or later.
Also agree with you that he will be kept through camp as a camp body. Remember he was not a Sean draft pick.

I don't know how anyone can be sold on him. He hasn't really done anything.
He's been mentioned by some to replace Sproles, but besides catching the ball and being able to line out wide, they have different skill sets.

I wouldn't say he sucks but he doesn't show that explosive acceleration that splores has had.
