The plan is for him to come off the bench.

Why can't we just have a nice thread about a player having a good month?

Glad to see Reke look more like the guy we thought he could be.

Because it should have been happening 30 games ago, that's why.

You probably still wanted Jim Haslett coaching the Saints.

I don't still want Monty coaching this team after this season. But I don't make it a point to derail every thread about it like you do.

Oh ok. That's what I do.

And that the first time I've heard you say that you're not supporting Monty. Now I think Jester is the last holdout.

Since Aminu has not really progressed and will probably expect more than the minimum hopefully we will just make Evans the future starter. I think Evans and Gordon are more than capable of spreading the floor. It isn't like Aminu was doing that much anyways.

All Hail Tyresus!

Maybe one day the refs will forgive Gordon for whatever he did to them and he will get some calls. Those calls elevating Gordon's play will just open it up more for Evans to dominate.

Seriously, what's the reason for his improved play in y'all's opinion?

I would think some of it is probably consistent heavy minutes. Maybe a little psychological since he has been starting he expects to get consistent minutes and get to find his rhythm.

Health is probably part of it. Also the teams they are playing are decent matchups for him. Scheme and getting him the ball more are likely helping too.

Starting gives him confidence I think. He can establish himself early and really get a good feel for what he needs to do. Not to mention he gets more time with better players instead of the 2's most of the game

I tend to agree with this. Coming off the bench just isn't the same.

I think he's feeling a lot more comfortable in this offense.

He mentioned earlier that he didn't know what his role was, so it's like Monty or whoever gave him the green light to do what he does.
