Does anyone still have unlimited data with AT&T? Why won't they let you even buy it for a price they name? I know several people with unlimited data who were grandfathered in, but of course they hardly use it. Between TD, FB, and other apps, I run the risk of overages every month.

I still have unlimited. When I switched phones they “accidentally“ took it off but I fixed it. They are stupid with the data usage shite.

I'm more pissed about Cox's rising costs.

We already have a huge ongoing thread on the issue. Take a read. Good info on people who have already made the switch, and other options.

They don't throttle you? If not, you must not live near a large city.

Still have unlimited as well. I probably average close 5gb or so. More if I'm actively tethering somewhere.

For me its not till I hit 5gb that they start throttling(or that's what the text says). I've never noticed a huge difference though. I'm mostly just web browsing or video wathcing

I was grandfathered in. Was using like 10GB per month streaming ESPN radio at work all day.

Kept getting messages from them saying I was in the top 5% of users for my area

I live in BR, just outside city limits, and no I don't guess they throttle me. The load speeds are pretty damn fast.

It's crazy that just 6 months ago I had to call and complain every month about my bill being 200+ every month even though the plan I signed up for was supposed to be like 170 after taxes. I was planning on dropping at&t as soon as my contact was up in September this year. I figured i could find a plan where I was paying around 150,and I would be happy enough. I'm now paying about 120 after taxes for 2 phones. Pricing has gotten much better, but it should still be lower.

I originally was paying 100 after tax for unlimited everything for one phone. Then, about 2 years ago, I added a line and we couldn't share the unlimited data. Up until about 6 months ago my bill was always wrong. I've been constantly watching my bill and checking new plans and recently things are finally in order.

I now have 2 phones sharing unlimited talk and text and 2 GB of data (we are always on Wi-Fi so really only need the 300 mb plan but some times go over that). I pay 90 bucks before tax and fees, my bill comes out to about 110 and some change.
