I'm a couple of days in, not too bad so far. Anyone else do this? How long did it take to fully adjust?

The wife and I did it a few years ago. Stopped with sugar in tea ad coffee. Before long you can't drink anything with sugars added.

Be warned that in the south you have to specify unsweet tea, because plain "iced tea" is interpreted as sweet down here.

Pretty easy. Start with 3 Splenda then 2 spenda then go truvia which is healthier

No, no it isn't. It is virtually the same thing repackaged.

I'm not a big coffee drinker so I think I'll be fine there with just adding a little milk. I bought some monk fruit sweetener to help with the tea but haven't used any yet.

I tried. Didnt work. Got used to spenda for a while. Unsweet tea serves no purpose to me. Went from sweet tea to water.

Splenda is made with straight chemicals. Truvia is slightly better.

Stevia is more organic (made from a plant) and not made with the same artificial processes as the other two.

I use to drink sweet tea, but now I just drink water. I don't see the point of unsweet tea other than it making you pee more.

Unsweetened tea is terrible.

Are you doing this because of health concerns? I would just stop drinking tea if that was the case. Everything is good in moderation.

I switched to black coffee about 3 weeks ago for health reasons. I actually feel good after drinking coffee. Before, my sinuses would swell up about 30 minutes after drinking it.

Yep. If I'm drinking tea it's going to be sweetened. With real sugar. Otherwise I'm fine with water. Or coffee. Or beer. Or wine. Or whiskey. You can keep your cokes and tea sweetened w/ splenda

Is stevia legal to sell in the US? I know when truvia came out it was illegal to sell as a sweetener. Haven't kept up with its status.

It's a similar product as Bamboo of rayon. It's so chemically altered from its source that it possesses almost no e is the qualities.

I find the complete opposite to be true.

When people order "iced tea" from me, I always assume unsweet. I don't even ask anymore. I used to ask when I first started waiting tables, but 99.9999999% of the time when people just say iced tea, they mean unsweet.

I went from sweet to unsweetened tea a couple of years ago cold turkey and haven't looked back. Now sweet tea fills me up to where I can't eat.

Sweet tea is awesome.
Unsweet tea sucks.
I just drink water instead. At least I'm not reminded that I wish I was having sweet tea!!

I've always drank unsweetened with one package of Equal. Sweet Tea is too sweet.
