Well to be fair, at that point, there really wasn't much credible information. Things ranged from aliens to terror and all sorts. When there's no evidence, it's really hard to see what could've happened to actually did happen.

But for them to end it with out coming out saying the plane WAS found, not debris that could've fallen off a ship, but the debris that can pick up and scan and be able to tell it came off the ship. Without them saying that, I think they ended it just because they had a group vote to end because too much money was being spent in the search.

What evidence do they have to make these statements? Is there pictures of plane debris in the ocean? What have they found?

That is what I want to know.

There was a fire, pilot turned plane around to land at nearest airport, cabin lost pressure, oxygen masks didn't deploy, everyone lost consciousness, plane ran out of fuel.

at you if you think that's what happened. You obviously know zilch about airline transport emergency procedures. We may never find out why, but a fire severe enough to incapacitate everyone but allow it to fly for 4 more hours is hilarious.

Like someone else said... I wouldn't doubt that the US has definitive tracking data that they don't want to share with others.

So, if the plane was hijacked....were the hijackers just complete idiots who had no idea how to navigate?

Pilot suicide seems more likely than hijacking.

I had the same feeling days ago and I think someone in the WSJ wrote an article about Gov't intelligences knowing where this plane crashed. But, because of the nature of intelligence gathering didn't want to give up the information.

Or maybe they don't want to just throw out information without getting eyes on the objects they believe to be plane wreckage.

Obviously they have pretty much identified some wreckage now & are 100% sure.

I doubt if anyone is surprised that satellites can pick up objects. Many countries have the technology.

"Evidence"

quote:

The developments happened the same day as Australian officials announced they had spotted two objects in the southern Indian Ocean that could be related to the flight, which has been missing since March 8 with 239 people aboard.

quote:

One object is "a grey or green circular object," and the other is "an orange rectangular object," the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said.

So far, nothing has been definitively linked to Flight 370.

Is it official that the plane went down in the ocean, or are they just saying this is mostly likely what happened based on evidence?

Why would a hijacker or crazy pilot go all the way to the bottom of the Indian ocean to committ suicide? Hijackers make demands dont they? A suicidal pilot would fly 7+ hours to committ suicide.

Doesnt make sense to me either of those scenarios.

They were both within the range of the past 10 minutes. Just have different time zones on the published time and date part.

Well, if you want to crash the plane where you don't want it to be found...this would be the perfect spot.

Probably so. I heard one news group state that this is no time for Countries to hold back their technology that may be a secret.
Really? Let the world know your secrets for this?

Why? Why are you laughing at those people?

With the amount of disinformation floating out there, I don't blame anyone for thinking that.

Because they are nuts. No way a 777 is going to stealthily land in Pakistan . Period.

Just seems like the in thing to be suspicious of Pakistan.
