Watching a replay of Megyn Kelly's show now...
She just used the prhase, "Very, very deep and very, very rough" in reference to the ocean floor
The video she played of the "rough waters" was actually a ship traversing the Southern Ocean, which is thousands of miles away from the area of interest in the Indian Ocean.

So I'm assuming that the "wreckage" off of Perth wasn't the plane and that this gif is still applicable?
Everybody just needs to go ahead and embrace the aliens theory.
All this nonsense about transponders and radio pings is obviously just misinformation

This incident will further the need for "instant satellite" technology. You think it's bad now with the gov't tracking your calls and location, wait until they can watch you taking a piss off your back porch.

Looks like today's search is a bust. No new info.
Damn shame. Seeing the family members in all of their agony is heart-wrenching.
I make light of this, but there are a lot of lost souls out there amidst all of this uncertainty.

If it was hijackers, why has no one claimed responsibility... and why would they fly it out into middle of the ocean?
Terrorists claim responsibility. Thieves and hijackers with an agenda remain silent, as it bodes well for them to stay low key.

Still don't see how you lose a plane. The "experts" keep saying how beacons go off when planes, life rafts, etc hit the water and we would know within minutes where it was. Well I don't think that fail safe method is working.

The pilot of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 made a mystery call just minutes before takeoff in Kuala Lumpur.
A report in The Sun said investigators are trying to work out who Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah spoke to in the cockpit before taking off for Beijing.

FWIW it's either 1-2 P.M. there right now. Still a decent amount of time

There must be a way to turn them off but they don't want to say how IMO. Whoever took the plane did a lot of homework to shut them off.

When they crash they still have something that goes off and satellites receive the signal...at least that's what they keep saying

As was discussed earlier in this thread, they don't always claim responsibility. Some terrorism is anonymous.

I'd bet my life savings, which isn't much, that the US knows exactly where/what happened, but ain't saying shite. They gave the Aussies all they could(who the frick else says a piece of debris is 79 ft long), but it's up to the international community to find it.

You mean other than Digital Globe the American company that took the pictures and found the debris?
