The could have landed the plane on the side of a mountain... I saw Airport '79, so I know it can be done, with damage to the plane of course, but it could be done. Was George Kennedy anywhere near Kuala Lumpur when the plane took off?

At this point my best guess is the plane is at the bottom of the ocean or the Malaysian government was complicit in the hijacking.

Not to mention CNN in a flight simulator saying "It's easy to turn off the transponder. Here, we'll show you exactly how it's done. Also, if you get hijacked, you just do this with the transponder, and the ground will know something is amiss" "And if you want to turn the plane using ACARS, you simply do this" "And to shut down most parts of ACARS, all you need to is this." Not in this instance if the pilots did indeed kill the pressure. The Marshals would be out just like the rest of the passengers.

The only way to possibly get around would be for 1 Marshal to be in the cockpit at all times.
