My wife and I watch it. It was one of the new shows that she picked. She's really into it, I watch it with her. It's not terrible but it's all over the place. I'll keep watching it with her but if it ended today without closure, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I got bored with it after a while and stopped watching. I can see how some would enjoy it, I just find that there are only so many shows I can follow at once at that one didn't make the cut.

The wife and I tried watching it on TV but lost interest after a few episodes. However, we picked it up on Netflix and liked it much better.

I have no desire to watch this show.

initially it was freaking terrible. Miles was a super ninja who could take on an entire army single handedly. The women all looked as if they had just walked out of a salon despite the lack of electricity for 15 years. One chick departed on a cross country walk within minutes of taking a 12 inch blade to the abdomen.

It was a bad show. However, for a while it seemed to rebound and provided several compelling episodes in a row. Now its just boring.

It's worth watching. The show really kicks into gear half way through season 1. Tom Neville is one of the baddest dudes on tv

I watched season 1 on NetFlix and I it has good and bad. The general plot seems good, but there are some maddening inconsistencies, without being too spoilery, 15 years after the blackout the main characters should be much more hardened than they are, and the available technology (ie mechanical technology rather than electrical technology) should be more advanced than it is. Give it a try, if the flaws of the show are enough to run you off, you'll know pretty quickly.

The acting, writing, and story are appallingly bad.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I watched two episodes last night and I agree with the guy who said Neville is a great villain, but yea a lot of inconsistency in it. Perhaps not that much yet, but for 15 years of no power, you'd think some stuff would be more advanced. It's as if people just up and gave up instead of trying to fix anything.

It has picked up a lot of momentum. It has gotten better and better.

I gave up after the arrow trap at the carnival episode. Worst trap ever.

If you don't watch it critically, it's an enjoyable show.

Once I usually start a show and finish a season, I usually just finish the whole thing even if it sucks; this is one of two shows I stopped, the other one being the walking dead.

They spend the whole season looking for that chick's brother then they kill him off in the first episode of the new season? wat?

And the acting is pretty fricking awful.

It's OK, kind of like watching Roadhouse for the thousandth time when there is nothing else to watch.

I think the BBC Survivors show was way better.

I enjoyed how as the show went on they realized that the young pretty girl Charlie wasn't that good at acting, so they stopped making her the main character, and we got less and less screen time of her. Unfortunately they altered her to this wannabe bad arse warrior chick, who's always scowling.

I've had that in my Netflix queue for so long, but never started it.

BTW @castorinho

That's pretty big spoilers for the OP

"The Walking Dead" is much more plausible.

This was my main issue. The same thing with the brother. It looked like he had a gym, hair stylist, and Old Navy at his disposal.

It works better than her trying to act.

I liked how they started focusing on Monroe but the whole son thing has cost that move it's momentum imo.
