I believe WB is 82 years old.

He has the following set up for his wife (16 years younger) when he departs:

10% in short term bonds (VFSTX??) and 90% in Vanguard 500 fund (VFIAX).

Looks too aggressive to me.

Well, let's look at your track record vs his and then we'll declare a winner.

I think her plan was a little less aggressive than you suggest.

1. Marry Warren Buffet

2. ???

3. Profit

I thought that he donated all his money to a foundation?

Not all of it. He pledged to give something like 90% of his Berkshire stock to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Of course, keeping only 10% meant he still had a few billion dollars left over.

Not all of it, but a sizeable chunk.

I remember him making a quote about leaving an inheritance to his children and grandchildren, "Leave them enough so that they can do anything, but not enough so they can do nothing".

He needs to diversify with some Bitcoin investments, IMO.

It appears Buffett has not been including TD in his daily readings. He has obviously been misled about bitcoins.

quote:

5. Bitcoin isn't a solid, long-term investment. "It's not a currency. It does not meet the test of a currency. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not around in 10 or 20 years. ... It is not a durable means of exchange. It's not a store of value. ... It's been a speculative -- a very speculative -- kind of Buck Rogers-type thing," Buffett said on CNBC.

Remember what happened to WB's first wife?

Susan left him and said for him to marry their housekeeper, Astrid.
