For those of you that have been to any or all of the major sports museums, which would you recommend the most? Which ones are most worth visiting for several hours with a teenager? I'm thinking of going to 1 or 2 of them this summer while vacationing in the Northeast.
Football - Canton, OH ?
Basketball - Springfield, MA ?
Baseball - Cooperstown, NY ?

I've heard that Cooperstown is very small.

Been to all three.
In order:
1) Football
2) Basketball
3) Baseball
Baseball HOF is embarrassingly bad.

Never been to the others but Canton is great. There's stuff to do all day.

Why wouldn't they upgrade one of the most prestigious places in all of American Sports?

Depends in which sport you enjoy the most,
I've only gone to Cooperstown. And Canton and enjoyed Cooperstown x10 more.

I've been to Cooperstown (twice) and Canton (once). Both were great but as a baseball fan I preferred Cooperstown obviously. I think I spent hours just in the room where they have all the inductees plaques.
