To be released or traded based on signings of Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin... He'd be a beast in the slot for us!
I am not a big fan of his but he is an amazing player.

yeah no doubt. id love to get him in this offense.

Love to have him, but you can't pay him, graham, and free agents.
Now if you're telling me, we're trading graham for a 1st and getting DeSean instead. I could get on that track

He is currently making 9.7 million a year. While only 3 million is guaranteed, he will likely be asking for more than this during free agency.

Was it a report or was it the speculation of some radio host?

I'm dubious about these rumors.
Why would they get rid of him?

I think this is definitely false.

Eh. Its fun to ponder these things if just for a minute.

"Word" is that they want him to take a pay cut, but don't expect him to be acceptable to it so they may just end up cutting him. I don't see it happening, but I've heard the rumor on the local Tampa station this AM as well as Tiki Barber's radio show this AM also.

Tampa radio is arse by the way, so I wouldn't put much stock into anything any of these idiots say. Jay Mohr is the only positive about any of Tampa's Sports radio.

I'm not saying I want him, but I can't help but think SP would love to have this guys speed and skill-set in our offense. He is a bit of a douche-bag but, our locker room is strong enough to handle that though.

people automatically assume a players expense. have you seen the FA market? its a buyers market right now. not every FA will get the money they want and will have to take a pay cut until they prove themselves more. i dont think a lot of these WRs will be expensive as you think.
the only thing helping them is the abundance of teams with huge cap space to blow.

I'd be very shocked if Jackson is let go. He does a ton to open up that offense in Philly.

Point taken. I just have faith that we'll find 1 or 2 more late round/UDFA that can get the job done. Our top 3 WR were all taken late. Colston(7th), Stills(5th), and Moore(undrafted) I think our money should be spent elsewhere. jmo

rotoworld-
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports DeSean Jackson "isn't close to being cut," and the Eagles "aren't actively shopping" him.
Beat writer Jeff McLane tweeted that the "rumors have little weight," and "the madness needed to be stopped." McLane's colleague at the Inquirer, Jimmy Kempski, got the ball rolling on the Jackson rumors last weekend, saying "some in the organization" don't believe Jackson's personality is a fit and the Eagles "could be open to trading him." Obviously, Kempski wasn't saying Jackson was going to be traded. But these rumors have taken off a bit in recent days. Jackson is coming off a career season and is the only outside big-play threat in Philadelphia. He should be back for another season with coach Chip Kelly.

Even if this were ture, I'm sure he's too expensive for us.

i agree. i think we absolutely draft a WR in an earlier round but it wouldnt hurt try and bring vet that has shown he can help this team. we need a good balance of vet and new talent. idk if moore will be here next year. we dont know whats up with graham and meach. all we know is colston for sure.

Meanwhile on the Jay Mohr sports show in Tampa, Kyle Turley calls owner Tom Benson an overglorified car salesman. When asked why the Saints paid Aaron Brooks all that money and then traded Turley, our organization quickly became the butt end of their jokes. While Mohr quickly stated that things had turned around when CSP and Loomis got here, it was pretty evident Turley holds nothing but ill fate and disregard when it comes to our organization.
