Make a vinaigrette w/a fruit (or coconut) vinegar, decent oil, and spike it with a little brown sugar or steens and smoked paprika.

Yea we use it all the time. Mix soy sauce and oil. Add some fresh squeezed orange juice (we have also used lemon or lime). Add some chopped cilantro and salt and pepper.

We keep it in a small container because it will seperate. We just shake it up prior to adding it to the salad.

I'm thinking I might like a little chopped ginger with those flavors. Just a bit.

TypoKnig,

Just want to say thanks for the suggestion. I added some chopped garlic to it and it was a major hit. There wasn't a single shred of lettuce or kernel of corn left when I cleaned up last night. I made enough to use again but everyone was very impressed.

My go to dressing: blood orange infused olive oil, champagne or white wine vinegar, a little fresh lemon juice and zest, honey, Dijon mustard, micro planed garlic, salt and pepper to taste. I prefer to grate the garlic because it does a good job at releasing the juices. I have yet to get any complaints from this dressing.

Try this next time..

LINK

It sounds kinda nasty, but it is goooood. Add some cooked black beans or pintos as well. Use a semi thick salsa like pace original. Use your favorite ranch.
