if what she is saying is accurate, then the invasion comparison is spot on.
I hope shes not implying that Putin will begin slaughtering Jews (any other ethnicity he deems inferior) though.

Wow, such tough talk from Hillary. What does she have to say about the security guarantee her husband signed with Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up nuclear weapons and reducing the size of its military? Isn't that more relevant than historical comparisons that do not address resolving the situation?

I despise Hillary, but she's absolutely right here. The comparison in the way Putin is acting and his comments on the current situation is spot on. She in no way mentioned anything about the Holocaust or implies Putin will attempt anything of the sort, but I'm sure it won't stop people from trying to talk about that.

It's a completely accurate historical comparison, which to me is different than an idiotic statement. I do enjoy history though, so maybe it's just me.

Godwin's Law - If a discussion—regardless of topic or scope—goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler, Nazis or Nazism.
The funniest example of Godwin's Law that I can remember is when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got into a pissing match with another politician during a campaign and compared him to Hitler.
