The show's host then asked Ronda if what she was saying was that, once she were to get the fight with Mayweather to the ground, that would be it.

Floyd would wreck her shite. Even though she may be the best woman in the Octagon, women's MMA is still so far behind the men in technique and skill (and obviously athleticism).
She's won a lot of fights by armbar against other women, but her technique was pretty sloppy in doing it.
Would she be able to do that against a guy with the punching ability of Floyd? I highly doubt it.

Rousey is a WOMEN'S judo champ. If it was the men's champ, then you'd have a point.
But the technique of even the best women is far behind the technique of the best men. When going against somebody who is physically superior to you in every way, your technique has to be perfect to have a chance. And Rousey's technique is far from perfect.
She has looked sloppy against 135 pound women who aren't Judo champs.

Even if she got her hands on him, he would be hitting her in the face and body like she's never been hit before. Floyd can dirty box.
Rousey has to work from the clinch.

And no, it wouldn't take a D1 wrestler to take Floyd down. But a 135 pound woman who is not a wrestler isn't going to be able to shoot on him successfully.
