Why Leo didn't win, and may not any time soon

He should have won it for Wolf of Wall St. He was great in that movie, but sadly Hollywood and Washington are on a homosexual kick right now, so an AIDS infested Mcconnehay(sp. ?) gets it. It is what it is.

I think that article way overthinks things but everybody is entitled to their opinion and content is not going to write itself, I guess.

But Jared Leto was, AIDS in large part is associated with homosexuality, every year it's about an agenda and this year it's about the gay pride movement, at least partially.

I disagree with the author's assertion on McConaughey. Matthew McConaughey still is a cool guy.

And yes MM is a cool guy, nothing against him, but Leo was much better in WOWS, than MM was in Dallas buyers club.

Why? Because I don't agree with you, or because I have my own opinion. I'm not against people with AIDS or gays, but if you cannot see Hollywoods agenda, then maybe you are stupid. If you look at the two performances objectively, clearly Leo was better that MM.

Well, just going by the article, the writer seems to be equating "cool" as "enigmatic" or "unapproachable". Still disagree with the premise.

bullshite. I've seen both movies, and MM completely deserves that award. He had the better performance. Leo's roll just needed him to scream and be crazy, which isn't all that difficult. MM had to put forth a bit more of a subtle performance, and he was fantastic.
