Anchorman 2 R - rated version

I haven't seen Anchorman 2 yet and just noticed they released the R rated version for 1 week. Has anyone seen it yet and should me and my wife go?
Or should we just watch the original version at home?

I didn't realize the first Anchorman 2 wasn't R rated.
This made me go look up the first Anchorman, ALSO not R rated. I wouldn't have guessed that.

Yup. Will Ferrell made it PG-13 because his mother asked him to quit being so crude shortly before she died. She thought he was funny enough to carry a joke without having to resort to the dirty stuff.

I'm sure you'll have some people come in here crying bloody murder over the rerelease of the film with different jokes. Hopefully someone can tell me why that's a problem, because I don't see any.
