Cheapest crawfish in mid-late March?

For my bro's bachelor party, we're going to the beach. We thought it would be great to boil a pot of crawfish right there on the beach, but I'm not sure where to get a sack of crawfish this time of year.
What are my options and what prices am I looking at? Any way it would be cheaper to get them in coastal Alabama?
TIA.

Making a road trip to get them at the source would be my suggestion to go with. Breaux Bridge/Henderson/Laffy area to be precise.

With the current state of the weather, there's no telling what the prices will be.
In AL, I'd consider steaming some royal reds instead. Maybe boiling crabs if you can get live ones for a decent price there.

You're looking at about $4/lb at best in most retail settings in S LA.

This is a pretty good suggestion if there are any good deals.

DIP Seafood in Mobile has them live for 4.49lb right now. I will be picking some up this Thursday. Prices should drop if the weather cooperates.

And it's 32 degrees today and sleeting.
