Can you smuggle a George Foreman into work? If so bring the makings of a Reuben or some other warm sandwiches to work with you.

Make a wrap. Caesar dressing, spinach, turkey, shredded cheese, real bacon bits and whatever else you like.

I know it's not a sammich but something decent, easy, and a little different than typical ham and cheese sammich

Why are you confined to just sandwiches?

Just curious, as this helps in my response.

George Foreman is out of the question. and i'm not confined to just sandwiches. I'm looking for lunch ideas so I don't have to go spend 10-20 bucks on lunch every day where I work.

Go to Calvin's. Buy the chicken salad. Make sandwiches. Enjoy.

Make your own muffalattas.

Make tuna salad with fresh tuna. You can do the same with salmon.

Make chicken salad with grilled chicken or rotisserie chickens.

Buy fresh baked french bread from the store while it's hot. It makes you look forward to eating a sandwich. Just throw the bread in the microwave at work for 15 secs and it's make you appreciate what the sandwich has the potential to be.

I've been having sandwich affairs with avocado, tomato, hummus and tempeh (you could use meat sub if you wanted though... Bacon maybe)... Can't get enough.

To prep the tempeh I just cook in a skillet with coconut oil and add a little liquid aminos (soy sauce w/ less sodium) for some flavor. Can also marinade with that, agave/maple, paprika and pepper.
