Any recommendations of a good pool installer in Baton Rouge? I've heard some horror stories about pool installations, so I'm just looking for some pointers of companies to stay away from and ones that have a good reputation. And suggestions based on first hand eexperience would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The best, they are locally owned and operated and stand by their work.
Dozier Construction, the owner is honest and great to work with.

Brian Keith Pools

Very good and competitive. Very easy to work with.
I did a lot of research before choosing Brian. Got pricing from several others including Russell and Ewing. His proposal was at least 15% less and included better and upgraded equipment and options. I know there are others that build nice pools but you can't go wrong with Brian.

Seguin Pools did my pool.

The guy does outstanding work. He even checks with me from time to time to see if everything is still working ok. It's hard to find that kind of service anywhere

Russell Pools.

G.W. Oliver also does good work.

Whatever you do, not Ewing.

Keller pools. Brad Keller has built several projects for us and is great at what he does. I can't recommend him enough.

Definitely Keller. Brad built our pool and I also can't say enough good things about him and his crew.

If you can get on their schedule Russell really is the top guy in the area. As one guy said he isnt' going to take a cheaper lower end job because of how busy he is. Not sure that that is a bad thing. When he starts your pool it isn't going to sit around because he has too many other jobs going. He is going to do what he says and he will do it right. You can also skip out on the landscape architect because there is nothing they will come up with that Keith hasn't already done. He will work with you to get what you want.

Russell won't be your cheapest estimate, but there are some things you don't want to go cheap on.
