LSU Softball Recruiting Class 2015

Hey everyone, class of 2015 is currently ranked #6. We bring in much needed depth. The group is athletic, we bring good speed and players with power and contact. This class is deadly offensively, they definitely put up some runs. We bring in an ACE pitcher who will compete with a already talented pitching rotation.

Sydney Smith- Out of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Sydney is an elite pitcher for the 2015 class. She is a top 100 player. She has a very good rise ball and change up, she brings power, her sophomore year she had a .37 ERA.

Shemiah Sanchez- Top 3 short stop out of Georgia, she bats right, she will bring power into the lineup. She is outstanding defensively, She was committed to Georgia Tech before flipping to LSU. She will definitely factor into the lineup somewhere when she steps onto campus! She batted over .500 has a freshman and she brings a lot of power. Expect her to hit many many doubles and triples.

Taylor Satchell- She is projected to play 3B. She is a contact hitter, has power that is still developing. She is very solid defensively. She will bring a lot of leadership! She hit .533 her Sophomore year!

Elyse Thornhill- Versatile player that can play anywhere in the infield. She very good arm and IQ. Makes good contact, needs to work on being more consistant at the plate, but can explode for power!! She will add depth.

Amber Serrett- She comes from Spring, TX, Amber is a very athletic short stop is great defensively. Top 100 player, she will make a great impact. She makes great contact, not as much power but she puts it in play.
