Winter Olympics are over?

Wow, I missed all of the winter olympics. I kind of knew there were going on as I would see videos here and there, but went through the entire period and did not sit to watch a single airing on the TV

Same duration as the 2016 Summer Games in Rio.
I think the fact that there are more than three times the number of events (306 vs. 99), in the very same length of time, and thus many more American medal winners making the news day in and day out (104 in London/2012 vs. 28 in Sochi), is what makes the Summer Olympics always seem to last so much longer.
