Just completed a cypress table for my large big green egg. It's my first carpentry work so overall I'm pleased with the outcome.

I'd let that hang out at my house.

Looks great. Did you find some plans on the internet or come up with your own.
I ask b/c this is on my to do list in the next few weeks.

Thanks. I found some photos of completed tables but no real plans.

Supernice!
I'm working on a little project myself right now. Not food related though.

Good job. Prepare for eternal enjoyment of cooking on your egg.

Sweet like an ice cream sandwich!

I would be looking for excuses to use that thing. Cooking for neighbors and shite.
Very nice. How much you spend in materials? I assume a table/stand that big would cost a grand in a BBQ shop.

I'm building a small book shelve to put in between my sinks and up against the mirror in my bathroom and framing in the mirror........ I'm almost up to $200 in material.

Nicely done. One problem though is it is going to be hard to clean I was at a friends the other night and his table was similar and we talked about that. I have the birds nest so i put a bucket under it and rake it into that. He bought a cheap shop vac and just sucks his up from the top.
Next picture you post needs to have smoke pouring from the top. One of the most satisfying things I find is looking across my backyard (with a cocktail-of course) and seeing my egg pouring smoke out of the top.
Enjoy.

I spent around $350 on materials.

What would you change about the table to help with clean up? I'm going to be building one in the future
Eta: table looks awesome. I have a similar vision for mine.

The table I built for my primo is similar. A small shop vac makes cleaning a breeze.
