Do you have to stay in RR? If so, Jack Allen's is pretty good and has a small local beer selection.
The Homefield Grill is decent food with a decent beer selection.
The Brass Tap has the best beer selection but no food.

Don't have to stay in RR. Cedar Park is close I guess. I saw the Brass Tap's selection. It's BOSS.

I've never stayed in Round Rock, so I don't know anything around there. Pint House Pizza and Black Star CO-OP are on the north side of Austin and probably 15 minutes away. Both are excellent choices.

If you're in Cedar Park The Dig Pub is excellent-good food and the best tap selection on that side of town.
