Any suggestions? I wanna take the kiddos to see these two parades... they have never been. I'm looking for a good walk up place... don't plan on camping out.

City of NOLA Grandstands
Zulu and Rex are sold out.
There are a few seats left for other parades.
Best money you'll ever spend at Mardi Gras.
Intercontinental Hotel Grandstands for Rex/Zulu ($75 each!!!)
It you're walking up, obviously stay out of the downtown area.
You're best bet is somewhere near Napolean Street

But you won't see Zulu, because it takes Jackson Ave to St. Charles.

the turn on on ST CHarles from jackson is pretty family friendly. Try and get on the sidewalk side. Get there about 6:30 for a decent spot.
