Houston Traffic advice

I need to be in downtown Houston by 7:45 tomorrow morning. Given traffic on the Gulf Freeway around that time (not sure when rush hour gets really bad), at what time would I need to leave League City in order to make it on time? 6:30?

That's a weird time. If you leave at 6:30, you'll get to town by 7:05. If you leave at 7, you might not make it there by 8.

Fridays are a lot lighter than M-Th. 6:30 is fine. You'll be early though but GR was right about after 7. Grab some coffee and get ready for your mtg.

6:30-6:45 if you are riding by yourself. If you were lucky enough to have a passenger you could use the HOV and get there in 30 minutes or so. Your biggest slowdown will probably be approaching the intersection with the South Loop (610). Once you get past there you are ok.

6:15 to be safe... if u have ez tag u can take the hov lane too.
