So no Dempsey, Donovan, or Besler. Think that's be they're spots are so secure and he wants to try out other CB's and some borderline midfield guys like Shea?

It's because he is trying to primarily only use players who play in Europe. MLS starts March 8-9.

Interesting MLS selection there. Only pick the two guys that have recently played in Europe.

It was known going in that it would be only European-based players + probably Dempsey and Bradley. Has nothing to do with who's spot is safe vs. who's isn't...just a logistical thing with MLS starting that weekend.
