This is what they are working towards...

...and this is where they are now:

Locker Rooms:

About the locker rooms:

Also in progress are new locker rooms in Tiger Stadium, David said. The men’s and visitors locker rooms will undergo renovations in the near future.

Also, according to Emmett David, associate athletic director of Facility and Project Management, the south end expansion of Tiger Stadium construction is 65 percent complete. This expansion will be ready for Sept. 6, the first gameday next fall.

New athletic facilities in progress

That was of February 4th. We're north of 65% now, with 6 months to geaux!

They don't seem to be moving very fast on the locker rooms...

I'd still like to know what they're doing to the score board.

I'm not gonna say it, but there is a ton of work yet to be done by August. Factor in all the springtime and daily afternoon summer showers and its going to be a close call.

They are definitely working on the screen and nothing else from the position of the scaffolding.

I'm in the opposite camp now. While the showers can and probably will slow down construction, the fact that the expansion is 65% complete with six months to go tells me it most likely -WILL- be ready on time.

I can't wait for the first thread titled "It is ready in time," with the final photos.

P.S: It'll never be ready. Ever.

I'd like to see some renderings of the new locker room. Curious to see if they intend on inserting something that really stands out like Bama's water fixture

I bet looking from the field level seeing the new enclosed end actually full is awesome!

I'd bet they try and mimic the locker rooms at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility:

I don't get it...6 months looks like plenty of time to go from this...

...to this...

...and from this...

...to this.

In fact, I'd bet large right now that the outer structure will be 100% done -WELL- before Saturday, September 6th for the Sam Houston St. game.

Now as to the finishing touches, we'll see. I could see them putting in long hours right up to the kickoff.

Anybody applied for the tickets in the south east that are being sold because they are moving the visitors?

They will be ready in time. I am in the construction industry and I am sure there are liquidated damages for not finishing on time. They did not wait until 6 months ahead of time to figure out they are not going to make it.

Now I am sure I will probably get run for this, but unless you have built something more than a birdhouse in the 6th grade, how about you trust in the professionals on this one.
