Each team will have one head coach, nine assistants, a strength coach, a director of recruiting and two GA's. Here's the catch: we'll only be drafting from a pool of head coaches. The 10 on-the-field coaches plus recruiting and strength spots will be chosen from the current roster of FBS head coaches, while the GA's will be plucked from the lower divisions. If you've ever dreamed of a staff where Mark Dantonio, defensive coordinator, had to contend with Dana Holgorsen, offensive coordinator; or better yet, where RichRod was calling plays against Bret Bielema's defense, tomorrow is your lucky day.

Les Miles Head coach
Art Briles Offensive coordinator, running backs
Rich Rodriguez Co-offensive coordinator, quarterbacks
Sonny Dykes Inside wide receivers
Butch Jones Director of recruiting, senior advisor to the head coach
Ken Niumatalolo Offensive line
Pat Fitzgerald Defensive coordinator, inside linebackers
Charlie Partridge Defensive line
Tim DeRuyter Outside linebackers, safeties
Bill Clark Cornerbacks
Rick Stockstill Outside wide receivers
Chris Hatcher Chief storyteller, assistant director of recruiting
Brian Jenkins Director of player personnel
Larry Blakeney Strength coach, senior associate head coach
"Les will serve as chief leader and his own special teams coordinator. We don't plan to punt, but will have an Aussie regardless.

On offense, Briles, RichRod, Sonny Dykes and Stock will want to (and are capable of) scoring 100 any given Saturday. Niumatalolo will be the voice of reason and ensure we don't run it up too much (like maybe only 70 per game).

On defense, Fitz, DeRuyter, Charlie Partridge and Bill Clark can all not only coach, but could probably suit up as well. There will be no points allowed ... this season.

Butch Jones and Larry Blakeney will serve as both advisors to and translators for Les. Butch will be the only coach authorized to call timeouts (sorry Les, it's for your own good).

Hatch and Brian Jenkins (both insanely good recruiters) will ensure we get only the best players, and each man will liven up the staff room."

I'm pretty surprised by a few:

Malzahn at 5

Leach at 7, seriously?

what sane person would rather have Leach as a HC over Bob Stoops, Kevin Sumlin, Art Briles, Charlie Strong, Bon Stoops, J L Mora, Al Golden, Butch Jones???

off topic.. I know...
but mehhh.. Fisher's career is no less impressive. It's not like Saban went to Bowling Green and created a powerhouse.
They both inherited elite teams and did well.
FSU's 2013 is better than Bama's 2009.
FSU has done as much with less talent but they've done it in a weaker conference.
In the past 3 years bama has 3 conference losses by a total of 14 points
FSU has a total of 4 conference losses by 12 points.
I'm cool if you pick the coach who doesn't have a sunbelt loss.

Bama was not elite when Saban got there

Comparably speaking, look at David Shaw vs Les Miles

In three years at the helm, Shaw has led Stanford to a 34-7 record. Two PAC 12 championships, three BCS games where they are 1-3, zero BCS title appearances and no final poll finish higher than 7th in the country.

The his first three years at the helm Les Miles was 34-6, two BCS wins, a BCS national title and no final poll finish lower than 6th in the country.

I just think it's a little hypctricial to give credit to Shaw for "keeping the ball rolling", when Miles got criticized for winning with someone elses players.

Not knocking Shaw, guy is great but the homer in me doesn't like to see him ahead of Miles right now.

I think he meant their footprint in college football.

Fine.. "elite" potential. "elite" past.. whatever.
The point is.. they were on even terms.
in the 3 previous seasons FSU had 16 losses.
bama had 15.
both coaches won national championships within their first 3 years.

This is the quote from the guy who drafted.

"I started with Jimbo Fisher over Nick Saban because of age. Fisher is 14 years younger, and he's proven in running a top-level program."

Saban's team is mired in a two game losing streak currently.

Celebrity Hot Tub: Scott's, then.

Spencer Hall: I can't see the names on this list over the massive balls all over the place. This is what happens when you send a real alcoholic to the liquor store for a barbecue and they just come back with 10 bottles of Everclear.

MILES AND BRILES, TUESDAYS ON TNT!

Celebrity Hot Tub: One's a speed demon. The other thinks time is a joke. MILES AND BRILES, Tuesdays on TNT! I want this team to beat Matt's team by 30.

Spencer Hall: In the first quarter. The real connoisseur's touch here is Chris Hatcher on storytelling, and Butch Jones for clock management. Part of organizational management is countering weaknesses, and Scott clearly understands that. There's even a translator for Les here! Throw in one for Briles, and you have a United Nations of testicular footballarity. A+, would actually pay to watch

Celebrity Hot Tub: Agreed. It's the Magic Mike of coaching staffs.
