I fed mine one just now, but now I am thinking it may be hard to digest.

They can eat them. They will eat them. Our pug puked for two days after eating one.

Sure, they can eat them. Then you can pay a lot of money to have them cut out after having a bowel obstruction. Srsly. Keep an eye on him.
Eta, and quit being a dumb frick.

This. Why would you feed him a corncob? Emergency surgery for an impaction is pricey. Dogs aren't garbage compactors. Quit treating him like one.

My black lab ate plastic five gallon bucket lids for years. Only thing he wouldn't eat was cantaloupe. Didn't kill him.

Where do you think corn dogs come from?

I just thought it would be okay to chew on since most snacks have corn as the first ingredient anyway. IDk.
It's a 75# catahoula, not a tiny dog

They eat them but often don't pass them - surgeon's best friend, a corn cob. Watch for vomiting and no more stool in a few days.

May kill him. Intestinal obstruction.
Good luck, pal.

They can eat them, they just can't poo them.
That's the real problem.

No, they don't have opposing thumbs to hold it.

Yes, but just like artichoke leaves, they'll usually puke them up later.

My Bulldog ate two sweet corn ears, hour later barf-o-matic.

I have a Maltese and we gave him a huge bone off a pig. Figured he would just gnaw on it or something.
Next morning, we can't find the bone. He puked up bone shavings for two days :yak:

you are a semi-trolling alter.
pool in the arena, top ten fast food locations.. etc
I fed a fat dog a small ear of corn.
If she seems like she is irregular tomorrow I'll take her to the vet. At least now I have my answer.
