Shallow Water Bay Boats

I currently have a small flats boat, but it looks like I'll be getting rid of it at the end of the year due to moving and having a kid at the same time. I plan to buy another boat in a few years. I like fishing in the marsh, but with kids, I think it will be better to get a little larger bay boat. I'll still want to do a lot of the same skinny water fishing. What are some of the better shallow water bay boats out there. I'm going to start making my wishlist now.

If you want to do anything like you are doing in that banshee. How much you asking for it?

We like our Carolina Skiff DLV. We mostly stay inshore so I'm not really sure how it would perform in the open bay.
ETA: If you'll be with kids, the CS will be a good boat for you. Really wide (8') and really safe.

Unless you are planning to leave sight of land, an 18 ft Nautic Star is a good boat for the price and can get in skinny water.

I don't really need to get in 5" of water. I never really have anyone to poll and a trolling motor doesn't do much good it that. So I don't have to be as shallow as the Banshee.
I would love a Majek, but the ones I've seen really don't have the storage I would like and they really aren't much more "kid friendly" than what I have. I like the Pangas, I may look more into that.
Not sure how much I'm going to sell the Banshee for. Depends on the hours I put on it this summer. It will probably have less than 100 hours and its a 2012. I would guess I would try to get $17,500.

I quoted a panga draft spec to my BIL, who has the finest Hells Bay (Gordon) Waterman you've ever seen, and he just laughed his arse off.

First and formostest, what's your price range.

Pretty much. What I don't like about my current boat and even Majek, is that it's pretty much a decked over boat. I like the Haynie Z21 as well, but I'm not familiar with it.
Looking used. Shooting for under $40k.
