Hey Guys,

I've been using paid VPN service, for reasons....

If I use that same VPN on my work computer, that also has a VPN through the companies network, does my VPN null the original work VPN? Would my activities still be logged? I don't save cookies and auto clear cache upon exiting browser.

Work computer = logged activities. That being said, since I am using a VPN wouldn't that logged activity only show my VPN's site?

TIA

You typically can not VPN through a VPN

Never tried to VPN from inside a VPN so I am not sure on your question but it is interesting.

However, in most companies connecting to an outside (non company) VPN is highly unadvised. Depending on your company it could be grounds for termination.

You could expose your company to security risks and or cause breaches in compliance(s).

It is possible to scan for VPN connections at the network level...however if your company actively monitors for such activity is another story.

If you are just looking to browse outside your companies audit trail I would suggest using a remote desktop solution and connect back to your home computer and surf the web via the remote connection. Check out something like: TeamViewer

(if I were you I would not go the VPN route on a company computer...just my 2 cents)
