Okay. Back to our critical mission of solving national problems here on the poli board.
What form does our living Constitution need to mutate into to be more effective? I'm curious because I wonder why libruls want to go to the trouble of amending it when it's much easier to just ignore some parts, or coerce a tortured interpretation of other parts? Are they getting a guilty conscience all of the sudden?

"It's alive" is one of the excuse they use to wholesale IGNORE the constitution. To them, it's a living, breathing, evolving document that changes with the times. The other excuse is that the amendment process is just too hard. Nothing would ever get done if they were required to amend it. They can't concentrate power in the hands of a few with that old rag. They hate it and want to rid the world of it.
