Mettenberger > Bridgewater

I try to stay unbiased, and it's hard to tell people this without sounding like it.
The only thing I would say Bridgewater has on Mett is mobility. Zach has size, arm, and leadership. I have no doubt had Cam Cameron come a year earlier and no knee injury he'd be talked about right now as a top 10-15 pick if not better.
Also everybody wants to go goo-goo-ga-ga over Bridgewaters accuracy...one thing that stuck out to me when watching him is that he was constantly throwing to wide open WR who had time and space to adjust properly to the ball, making the throw seem better. I rarely saw him have to throw it into tight windows like we've constantly seen Mett do (one play that comes to mind was the throw to Jarvis this year in the A&M game over the middle of the field)
Am I wrong to think this and letting my purple and gold shades cloud my vision or do I have a legitimate argument here?

Zach will be successful in the NFL given the right system. But even no injury there ain't no way he would of went top 15

I said WITH an extra year with Cam as well.

Their salaries won't be saying that.

Did you forget about some of his throws against UF? LINK

No you're definitely on to something. Only time will tell, but I think Mett has the most upside of any QB in this class. Bridgewater is a little bit overrated, and JFF is the wild card.

That was one game against one of, if not the most overrated team that year. Not saying Bridgewater sucks. I think he'll make a fine nfl Qb with an above average, maybe top 10-12 Qb in the nfl ceiling. I just think he's a bit of a product of the media.

Although he improved greatly last season over 2012, Mett still does not deal well with a collapsing pocket or pressure. Bridgewater's composure under fire is his most redeeming quality in my opinion.

Agreed. He's not ready to start from day one. IMO no one in this class is.

You're going on a tangent and derailing this thread. Fine Florida's D was good, and I didn't say he wasn't accurate, I just think people, mainly the media, act like his accuracy is God-like when in reality we've seen plenty of QBs drop it in just as good.

Honestly Bridgewater's small hands/ glove wearing would be the biggest red flag if I was thinking of drafting him.

Fair point, but like I said, I would think that has to do with the disparity in mobility between the two. Wouldn't you?

It's not often that you see a qb who brings mobility and accuracy, along with pretty good size the way Bridgewater does. He is the complete package.

Obviously it's just my opinion from having watched them all play, but I just don't see an Andrew Luck "step right in and be the guy" this year.

Bridgewater is going to be a total flop

I think a better question would be why can't lsu get wide open receivers on a consistent basis like that? You'd think with the rushing capability we've had that would be more frequent but its not.

yes, but
I do see a bigger more accurate version of Russell Wilson who looks ready to step in and play
