Danny Granger - G/F - 76ers Danny Granger did not practice and may not play vs. the Bucks on Monday.
He has yet to practice with his new team and signs point to the veteran wanting a buyout. If true, Granger is probably going to hurt his wallet in the future because teams are going to be very apprehensive about giving his a big contract based on his body of work in Indiana this season. He can't score on his own this year and playing with the Sixers would at least give him a chance to redeem himself. If you picked him up and there's a hot free agent out there, it's probably safe to jump ship.

Not unless the Heat, Clippers, Bulls and Knicks pass on him.

"Nobody wants Granger, he hasn't been good in a long time. That means there is no way he can ever be a contributor to anything." - Summary of the backlash I've received regarding Granger during my time on Pels talk.

Well it's true

He has gotten worse every season the past 5 years

He's 30, has injuries, and will demand WAY more than he's worth

There are pretty much zero advantages to signing him. None.

There are younger, healthier, better, cheaper players we could go after at SF.

Please PT, make the Granger stuff stop. Please.

Have you seen him play? You'd shite your pants at how awful he is.

This ain't 2009

He shot like 40% in his last healthy season and is shooting under 35% this season.

He's God awful.

I'd love Granger...for my NBA 2K14 roster. He's still money from 3 in the video game.

In real life, he's old and hurt and a shell of his former self.

I'd be ok with Dell taking a flyer on him for a minimum/low deal

#Sixers, Danny Granger completing buyout, but interest not as high as reported. One GM went as far as to say zero interest. "He's done."

can you name some?
I would assume Granger is not going to make more than 3 or 4 million max next year, if he is even picked up by someone.
Artest was making 1.5, and he's terrible.
There are younger, healthier, better guys out there, but i don't think any will be cheaper than Granger. He's a backup now, nothing wrong with taking a flyer on an allstar at one time.

he's a local guy, that i'm not sure if he even would want to come back to LA, but we could get him for cheap. He's no worse than Miller for sure and he's just as good as Aminu on the nights Aminu shits his pants.

The buyout is official, and both the Spurs and Clippers want him.
