Preach it, Brother! We should have elected Walter Boasso!!!

He had a box of Tide and an IQ of 90.

He has cut taxes, and he is balancing the budget.

Now we can argue that he isn't spending enough money on education, the poor, healthcare, etc.; but we aren't spending more than we have now and he isn't raising taxes despite the ill effects of a poor economy.

Jindal isn't perfect, but I'd be shocked if he went to jail or tried to raise our taxes.

What ever happened to that big surplus OGB had accumulated before it was privatized?

He can only cut in two places.

1. Healthcare
2. Education

Pick one or demand state constitutional changes

Exactly. I don't understand how so many who claim to be conservative can whine when a GOP leader isn't spending enough on programs.

That's the tough part of being conservative...cutting off the Government assistance. When it's cut off, there is a period of hurt until people adjust.

i dont care if he is perfect what i care about is he is balancing the budget by using one time funding which is nothing more than an accounting trick. and then he goes around on national television talking about his balancing of the budget and not raising taxes. as the old saying goes he is just kicking the can down the road.

Every year they use one time money and guess what, next year they have one time money to use again.

But the budget is being balanced, and that's the bottom line.

Would you rather the guy raise taxes or be creative and find ways to balance the budget and hope the economy recovers?

That is not true, but is part of the narrative.

It is only true during mid-year budget cuts. The governor can propose and the leg can pass a budget with substantial cuts in most areas of government.. if they wanted to.

OK what site is this? I call bullshite.

Medicaid or Medicare?

Medicare is federal funds which I would think he doesn't have access too.
Medicaid is state funds

He's a liberal. He would rather not be restricted by things like budgets.

Let me get really simple, Hawk. You have 3 choices when you vote.
a. left
b. right
c. don't vote

If you don't like Jindal then your alternative is:
a. Walter
c. don't vote, and shut up.

Are you gonna tell us that you would have preferred Walter? Hmmm?

Well considering our tax dollars fund the Medicare ponzi scheme I don't see what the problem is.

Apparently you didn't read your own link before you put Medicare in your thread title.

And so if someone voted for Jindal due to lack of better choices, then they still should complain when they disagree with something he does?

So those of us who voted for Bush over Gore/Kerry had no right to complain when he pushed more ethanol-fuel mandates or pushed to bailout the big banks?

Ok.

No, we pay relatively high taxes now.

I'd vote for door number two, having him do a better job.
