Caught 40 white perch near the bridge at night.

Yesterday was miserable. We only caught three fish from daylight to dark. One was about 4 pounds though

Toledo Bend sucks right now.
There was a tournament with 430 boats and other club tournaments going on.
Top that off with 49-57 water temps and fishing was tough.

Friday: 4 people in the boat. Not a bite all day.
Broke my trolling motor and GPS.

Caught 29 white perch the night before.

Saturday: caught 7 bass, 4 keepers. 11 white perch.

Sunday fished a few hours. Caught 3 bass 1 keeper about 3 pounds.

We ended up with 6 quarts of wp fillets and 2 quarts of bass.

Maybe the worst trip I ever made to Toledo.

Will go back in 2 weeks for the full moon, less boats and warmer water temps.

I was told that over 2000 bass were caught for that big tournament alone.

We caught 40+ Saturday...

mostly 3 and 4 lbers

a couple of 5s...

we were also the only boat of the 25-30 around us catching anything

always fun to see the other boats digging in their tackleboxes

I wish we would have been in one of the big tourneys because we would have smoked everyone

Housen, 8-10 ft with grass

not telling what we were fishing with because my bro might not take me anymore if I tell everyone, but it certainly isn't what people normally fish with out there

the fog Saturday morning was incredible, it was quite unnerving all morning fishing with all those boats running wide open with about 50 ft of visibility

Cuaght 4 bass Sunday, and 3 sacs, fishing beetle spins for sacs. In and around Slaughter Creek. Top fisherman was using a borrowed Zebco. Balls of shad everywhere, so hard to compete with the real thing.
