Greg oden. Good for him.

quote:

Greg Oden will start in place of LeBron James on Sunday vs. the Bulls. This is a shocking development and there's a good chance nobody saw this coming at all.

His last start was Dec. 5, 2009. He played four minutes and 15 seconds and didn't play again for more than four years. Oden's played in five of Miami's last nine games, averaging 2.2 points, 2.4 boards, 0.6 steals and 0.6 blocks in 7.2 minutes. This is another chapter in a great story for Oden, but he's still unlikely to be a fantasy asset. We'll be watching him closely.

Gotta agree with JVG that the Heat would be the 2nd best team in the East without Lebron.

They might be, although I don't really trust the Pacers.

But with lebron theyre a 60 win contender, without him I think they could still win 45-50.

I reallllllllly hope this works out. He seems like a good guy and really felt bad for it not working out in Portland.

I just turned it on how's he doing?

definitely. I think there are a few teams out there that you can take the best player off and they would be the 2nd best team in the East.

Probably are. Which is damn amazing. Without possibly the greatest player in NBA history (by the time it is all over) who is playing at his peak, the Heat are second best in the East or 4th at worst.

I am still seriously of the opinion the Heat are SIGNIFICANTLY better than any other team in the NBA and there is about an 80% chance they win the title again this year.

Good for him, he has obviously worked hard to get to this point. Hopefully his body can hold up

Not even close.

Did you think similarly last season?
