Anyone have any experience with this Goliath? How is their temperament? Ease of training? Etc..

Old friend had two, they were very calm and were not aggressive any of the times i met them. They had no other dogs around so I don't know how well they do with others.
But I've also seen one at the Cane's dog park and that dog was fine with others. Just trotted around and played a lil. Wasn't extremely socially active like a lab or something.

I think they only live to be about 8 years old. You need to be aware of that.

I think 8 years old would be a very long life for an Irish wolfhound.

It's kind of hellish to have one as a puppy. They grow so fast you have to keep from them from injuring themselves due to stress on their bones and joints.
