Chance to sweep Kentucky and pick up only our 6th win ever at Kentucky...

It was there for the taking. UT loss to A&M and LSU was sitting there ready to take their spot in the NCAAT with a season sweep of UK.

Who knows the loss will encourage JOBIII to return for his senior year. Without Stringer and Coleman next year, having JOBIII and Hickey back will be important for the development of the younger players. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

If anything, this game boosted his stock. It's the second time this year that he's was clearly the best post player against a team of NBA lottery picks

LSU signed four and is only losing 2 right now. Simple math tells you JOB is gone

That was bullshite. The road officiating in the SEC is what is hurting the whole conference.

Is Mickey gone or does he stay? I think he should stay. I just don't think he's ready yet.

Basically, it comes down to UF. Win, and they will be a bubble team. Lose and they are NIT.

You know who's the most hurt right now?
The players. They played their best road game of the season and lost.

I didn't get to see any of the game. I saw the end on replay but that's it. I did get to listen to the last minute of OT, and after the game, Tom Leach (UK's PbP guy) said he was sick to his stomach for the LSU kids. You could see just how they left everything on the floor.

I dont know why people keep trying to convince themselves he'll be back. He made it abundantly clear by coming back this was it.

It certainly was, couple of missed layups, letting UK get too many 2nd chances and inside position...I just want to forget basketball right now...

I'm more aggravated at losing to teams like Alabama and A&M than I am losing today. And FWIW, we are now part of a 7 way tie for 4th place in the SEC.

Just heard something crazy. UK has not lost a home OT game since Dec of 1989. To UL-Lafayette.

Such mixed emotions off this game. Proud the sustained effort, focus and energy we played with.

I wouldn't say it was our best game cosmetically. Mickey struggled, Martin was not very agressive and had only 3 boards and we had some of our usual defensive lapses.

But back to the energy and focus, that's what kinda ticks me off. We bring that in any number of other games against far lesser teams and we're talking about seeding for the NCAA tourney not whether or not we make the NIT.
