50 fish between two boats. Down in golden meadow for a bachelor party. Went out bow fishing with Marsh Masters. Both boats were done around midnight.

How do they manage the numbers and size limits when bow fishing reds, vs fishing with a pole for them. Surely the size limit would go out the window, correct?

You can see the fish before you shoot it.

Don't shoot if its little

Haha... You're info is partially right. 47 reds. 3 sheepshead. So 50 fish.

Shouldn't you be on the slopes, and not counting my fish?

The size limit is if its under legal length, you chunk it back in the water stone dead and shoot one longer than 16

At least that what most people do

Never have done this. Think it would be a real good time.

That makes sense. It would be hard to judge a 15 inch from a 16 inch with that quick amount of time.

JMHO I hate that this is legal. It's just like spotlighting deer. I'm an avid red fisherman both for pleasure and professionally and absolutely hate to even hear about this slaughter.I know many disagree but I would never do it and love to see it outlawed.

I agree it should be illegal. I dont see how this isnt hurnting the resource I just dont get it. You have these crews go and SLAUGHTER 100-200 redfish a night and thats not even counting all the sheepshead they shoot which is what really bothers me not the damn redfish

Blame the sheepshead. They just sit there. Redfish at least take off and make it challenging.

Dude they have the same limit as when you're fishing. I can understand people being against it, but I'm glad it's legal because it is a blast to get some buddies and go.

Shooting redfish is much more of a challenge then spotlighting deer.
