did anyone else notice that we always seem to play an Ivy League team

the last weekend of Mardi Gras, this year we have a three game home stand with Yale...

yep, i am too....

i spend a decent amount of time on the Dartmouth campus and in that area due to work, it'd be a hoot to get them down here....

And not out of the realm of possibility that you might see an Ivy League team in regional play - why not play against that style, it may help you down the line

Northern schools willing to travel this time of year, that's why.

LSU tries to land bigger schools but they don't want to play us at the box anymore

When Brown came down in 2010 with Pepperdine, the players, coaches, and parents loved the tailgating and atmosphere at LSU.

We whipped them like a stepchild. But they were laughing and cutting up in the parking lot like kids at Disneyworld.

Ate all they could eat and came back for more.

It's cold up there right now. A lot of Northern teams come south to begin their season.

believe me, i know....been up there this time of year, but found it curious that this particular weekend is always an Ivy League team....

those type of teams get brought in bc LSU fans will pack the Box to see them play high schools...

We always play them the same week because it is the first week of the season they can play. The Ivy league doesn't allow baseball teams to play the first two weeks.
